Editor versus control plane.

Cursor is a VS Code fork optimized for writing code with AI in the buffer. Continuum is optimized for running and steering coding agents - often for hours - with worktrees, plans, diffs, and PRs as first-class panes. Continuum does not ship Tab or a full text editor. Continuum can host the Cursor agent CLI as one fleet tile - that is not the same as living inside Cursor’s editor for Tab.
