Continuum's unit is a live provider session with a worktree, branch, plan, transcript, diff, terminal, and PR. Qodo's unit is a change that must satisfy correctness, test, policy, and governance expectations before it merges.

Qodo is review-first now.

The older Qodo Gen, Merge, Command, and Aware names still drive searches, but Qodo has unified them into IDE, Git, CLI, and Context Engine. Its current documentation says code generation features are being deprecated as the product shifts fully toward review and governance.

First-class fleet versus connected fixers.

Continuum launches and supervises third-party coding agents as the main workflow. Qodo can connect Claude Code, Codex, Cursor CLI, and custom CLI agents to resolve review findings, but those agents support the review loop rather than define the product.
